Facilities
Campers come first at Camp Aldersgate. We have 120 acres boasting wooded hills, 22 buildings, a six-acre lake, cabins, two ropes courses, a fully accessible treehouse, an archery pavilion, horseback riding, two pools and paved trails - a beautiful oasis in the heart of the state's largest city.
Organizations may reserve our facilities for meetings and retreats when not reserved for our camping programs. Groups have access to indoor and outdoor meeting space and overnight facilities. The Commons Center, which lies at the center of the camp, has hosted retreats, business team building sessions, family reunions, birthday parties, and weddings. The 12,000 square foot stone, steel and glass structure houses a new dining hall, two activity rooms and large porches for outdoor activities.

Camp Aldersgate has been an Arkansas treasure for over 50 years and thanks to its unique history as one of the first racially integrated institutions in America, it has been designated a National Historic Site of the United Methodist Church. Because campers come first at Camp Aldersgate, no alcoholic beverages are allowed on our grounds. Smoking is permitted in designated areas.
