Seniors Day Out
Since the early 1970s, the Seniors Day Out program at Camp Aldersgate has been providing fun, fellowship and socialization for many of central Arkansas’ senior adults.
Every Thursday from August to May, senior adults enjoy nutritious meals, educational activities, exercise, guest speakers, fishing derbies, games, and holiday and birthday parties. Seniors Day Out provides an environment that encourages activity and friendship.
This weekly program begins at 10:00 a.m. with a devotional, group exercise, and the opportunity to participate in various activities. Lunch is provided by CareLink and is served by staff and volunteers. After lunch, participants continue programs and activities that are both entertaining and educational. Seniors Day Out ends at 1:00 p.m.
